According to Middle East General Manager, Duncan Adamson, "We have been pleasantly surprised by the pace of demand growth for our services in this region. It has been hard work, but customers are responding very positively to our key messages about infrastructure optimisation, operational efficiency gains and improved governance."
Whilst the overall Intergence Group results are also expected to exhibit strong year-on-year growth, the decision to diversify into markets outside the UK during a period of relative economic uncertainty is certainly being vindicated.
Mr Adamson said that, "Customers’ IT infrastructures and supporting documentation have struggled to keep pace with the sheer rate of business growth in this region. There is a real need for expertise to support local IT teams, and we see senior management using the recent economic slowdown as an opportunity to take a closer look at their operational systems, their relevance to planned business strategy and the extent to which they have been or can be optimised for both cost and performance".
