Competitive Businesses - Real Challenges - Optimised Approach

Lloyds TSB Middle East

Intergence were engaged following a period of growth in Lloyds TSB Middle East's regional business.  The growth experienced led to a need to baseline the current architecture position and look into best practice solutions available to enable continued growth in the business, whilst delivering a seamless service to the customer and users alike. By targeting significant operational cost savings and using technology to deliver optimum quality and service availability, continued growth and stability would be achieved.

Intergence undertook a full LAN and security environment baseline exercise to determine the current state of the local area network and application landscape, whilst security protocols were audited against best practice.  Following this exercise, a WAN audit, voice call profile and VoIP assessment were undertaken, and a comprehensive asset audit and lifecycle report delivered.

The resultant recommendations enabled the bank to generate improved returns from existing network assets, including previously under-utilised acceleration devices.  Moreover, the bank are now in possession of a full optimisation roadmap, and are in a position to pre-emptively evaluate new application deployments whilst continuing to drive further operational efficiencies across the business.  The financial impact of these IT efficiencies and operational improvements has manifested itself in a direct contribution to cost savings targets within the financial year.

"Intergence hit the ground running and we anticipate good ROI from the highlighted findings from their work."
