Overview:
Security optimisation is the process of identifying security flaws within a network; these can be either systems that are susceptible to attack, or network links that have a single point of failure. This is done via auditing, visualisation and network management.
Over the recent years attacks on a network infrastructure has rose exponentially. Ways that network and the systems have been attacked can typically be prevented by policies and rules set out by network administrators, however it’s a difficult task to see if these rules are applied and in use across the entire network as well as all machines are compliant.
