Terms and Conditions
Things you should know
Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions. Entries not made in accordance with these terms and conditions will be disqualified. Entry to the competition is free.
1. Promotion: Answer the competition question online at between 15th April 2009 and midnight 31st July 2009. Complete and submit the competition entry form answering all questions by midnight 31st July 2009 and the entrant will go in the draw to win a trip for two to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

3. Promotion Period: The Promotion will commence at 12.00am (GMT) on 15/04/2009 and closes 11.59pm (GMT) on 31/07/2009. All times recorded throughout these terms and conditions are in GMT.
4. Eligibility: To be eligible to enter the Promotion, the entrant must:
a. be an IT manager (or similar) or hold an executive job title. A business card will be required in case of verification of winning applicant
b. complete and submit the entire competition entry form with all details requested
5. Non-Eligibility: Entrants are not eligible to enter the Promotion or win any Prize if they are a director or a manager, an employee or immediate family member of an employee of the Promoter, or an employee of their agencies associated with the Promotion.
6. Further, any personal information or contact details entered incorrectly on the online enquiry form shall deem the entry as an invalid entry.
Section 3: Entry to the promotion
7. When an eligible entrant completes and submits the 'Competition Questionnaire’ entry form, within the Promotion Period as noted in Clause 4, the entrant will automatically receive one (1) entry to the Promotion. Only one (1) entry may be made per person and multiple entries are not permitted.
Section 4: Draw
8. Draw: All eligible entries of the 'Competition Questionnaire’ form will be recorded and the winner will be decided at 10.00am on 10th August, 2009. The prize winner will be selected from a listing of entries that comply with section 1 and 3 of these terms and conditions over the Promotion Period.
9. Prize Winner: The Prize described below in Section 5 will be awarded to the eligible entrant based on a random shuffle as described in Clause 8.
Section 5: Prize
10. Prize components: There is one (1) Prize to be awarded in this Promotion consisting of the following:
The prize is inclusive of:
1. Two air tickets to Dubai on economy class,
2. 3 nights hotel stay (Bed & Breakfast) for double room occupancy.
3. Transportation to and from the airport for departure/arrival will be included.
4. Two 5 days tickets to Gitex Technology week 2009 if trip is claimed during that period of time (18 – 22 October 2009)
11. Prize conditions: The prize is subject to the following conditions:
No exchange of prize: The prize is transferable. It cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. If for any reason, the Prize Winner cannot take any component of the Prize and he/she does not wish to transfer the Prize, then the Prize will be forfeited.
Ancillary Costs: All Visa, transport, meals (other than breakfast), beverages, spending money, insurances, service charges, taxes, transfers and ancillary costs, are not included in the Prize unless specified and are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.
Prize Availability: All components of the Prize, including flights and accommodation are subject to availability.
Peak and Holiday Season: The prize cannot be claimed during Christmas, Thanks Giving or other peak seasons.
Date Prize to be taken: The Prize Winner must travel and utilise the prize during maximum 3 months from notification date.
Section 6: Prize winner
12. Contact: The Promoter will contact the Prize Winner in writing by mail, email or telephone on 11th August 2009 to confirm his/her eligibility under these terms and conditions and to confirm whether the Prize Winner wishes to claim his/her Prize.
13. Claim of Prize: If the Prize Winner wishes to claim the Prize, the prize Winner must confirm this fact and his/her eligibility to win under these terms and conditions by 5pm (GMT) on the 19th August 2009. If the prize winner fails to do either or both of these things by the deadline, the Prize Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize.
14. The successful entrant agrees to have their photograph and details published on the Intergence website and in associated news articles for a period of 2 years after the closing of the competition.
Section 7: General conditions
14. Lost, Delayed Communication: The Promoter will not be responsible for any delayed, lost or misdirected mail or any other communication.
15. Release: To the fullest extent permissible by law, each entrant in the Promotion including without limitations the Prize Winner, releases the Promoter from any claim, loss, damage, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by such entrant in connection with the Prize or their participation in the Promotion. The Promoter, it's related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential and economic loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion, the promotion of this Promotion, or the use of any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorised intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to participants' or any other persons computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this Promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
16. Force Majeure: Subject to UK legislation the Promoter will not be responsible for any act. Omission, failure or delay by the Promoter that is due to an act of God, riots, acts of terrorism, storms, fire, any labour or industrial dispute, any strike, and other acts, which are not reasonably within the control of the Promoter.
17. Disputes: In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
