Last week on Tuesday, 8th September, we welcomed existing customers, partners and organisations exploring how AI and cybersecurity can help drive their businesses forward to the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground. We had an insightful discussion on two of the biggest topics shaping today's business landscape: cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

From emerging cyber threats to the rapid evolution of AI, one message came through loud and clear: organisations must focus on building strong foundations while preparing for a future that is changing faster than ever before.

Here are some of the key takeaways from the day.

1. The fundamentals still matter

While AI dominated much of the conversation, there was a strong reminder that many organisations are still vulnerable because essential cybersecurity controls are not fully in place.

Peter Job, CEO, Intergence: "Cyber resilience starts with strong foundations." Dave highlighted the importance of proactive cybersecurity, encouraging organisations to move beyond traditional prevention strategies and focus on continuous monitoring, detection and response. His message was clear: modern cyber security requires preparation, visibility and resilience.

Event Theme: Across all sessions, a common thread emerged: organisations that combine strong cyber foundations, human expertise and practical AI adoption will be best positioned to thrive in an increasingly complex digital landscape
