We’re delighted to announce that we have been awarded Network Project of the Year at the Network Computing Awards 2026, recognising our work with Tendring District Council to deliver resilient, cost-effective connectivity across ten supported housing schemes.
Faced with tight budgets and the upcoming PSTN switch-off, the council needed a resilient, cost-effective network across ten housing schemes to support life-saving IP emergency alarms and secure staff connectivity.
Working together, we designed and deployed an SD-WAN solution using Fortinet all-in-one firewalls with integrated 4G failover. The plug-and-play approach enabled simple deployment by the council’s IT team while delivering highly resilient connectivity, secure access to critical systems, and seamless corporate Wi-Fi across all locations.
The project demonstrates how innovative network design can help public sector organisations modernise essential services without exceeding budget constraints.
We’re thrilled that this work has been recognised by the Network Computing Awards and would like to thank Tendring District Council for their partnership throughout the project.
